Halara Tall Girl Pants Review | Linen-Feel + Casual

As a gal who is 5’10” and needs at least a 35 inch inseam for pants to hit the ground, Halara’s ultra tall length pants are a game changer. Until now, the only pants from Halara that I’ve owned have been leggings and yoga pants (or flared leggings if you’re not a millennial, but I am millennial and they were yoga pants when we first started wearing them in high school and they are still yoga pants to me now!!) Those suckers are so long I step on them - it’s crazy and I love it. You heard it here first: Halara is the place for tall girl pants!

I’ve been looking at the High Waisted Drawstring Pocket Wide Leg Baggy Casual Pants and the High Waisted Drawstring Pocket Wide Leg Baggy Casual Linen-Feel Pants for a while and just haven’t been able to get myself to pull the trigger, but I’m going to Switzerland in September and I’ve really used this trip as an excuse to buy a lot of the things that I’ve just kind of had on the back burner for a while, so let’s check out these new pants!

First Impressions

Straight out of the bag, all three are soft and LONG! Exactly what we want to see! (I got them all in a size medium, extall length.)

The casual pants are definitely more of a lounge pant, and the linen-feel pants are pretty much exactly what I was hoping for. They will be perfect on my trip!

My thought for the High Waisted Drawstring Pocket Wide Leg Baggy Casual Linen-Feel Pants was to have some comfortable, versatile pants that would match with everything for my Europe trip. These are PERFECT! I can’t wait to wear the black ones arguably too many times over the span of my 12 day trip hahah They’ll be perfect airplane pants, too.

They tote themselves as anti-wrinkle in all the ads I’ve seen about them online, and while I didn’t necessarily believe they’d have absolutely zero wrinkle, we’ll see how that pans out. They’re definitely creased from shipping, so I’ll give em a good steam and hopefully from there they’ll be mostly low wrinkle.

I got the High Waisted Drawstring Pocket Wide Leg Baggy Casual Pants as a lounge pant, so their vibe isn’t a surprise to me. While my original thought was that I probably would only wear these around the house, the fit is so flattering that I’d be totally fine leaving the house in these and not feeling super slouchy or feel like I’m not put together. Such a pleasant surprise!

And the LENGTH!! These are literally pooling at my feet - I could wear them with heels if I wanted to and they’d still be long enough! (Which obviously I would never do with lounge pants, but just the fact that I could is amazing haha)

All in all, I couldn’t recommend these tall girl pants enough.

I actually already told one of my friends that I’m going on the trip with that she needs to get the linen-feel pants, too. I have other Halara stuff that has washed well, but I’ll update this post after I wash them for the first time if there’s anything special or noteworthy that comes up when washing them. 10/10 tall girl pants so far though!
